Introduction: A meta-analysis is a statistical and analytical method which combines and synthesizes different independent studies and integrates their results into one common result. Goal: Analysis of the journals “Medical Archives”, “Materia Socio Medica” and “Acta Informatica Medica”, which are located in the most eminent indexed databases of the biomedical milieu. Material and methods: The study has retrospective and descriptive character, and included the period of the calendar year 2014. Study included six editions of all three journals (total of 18 journals). Results: In this period was published a total of 291 articles (in the “Medical Archives” 110, “Materia Socio Medica” 97, and in “Acta Informatica Medica” 84). The largest number of articles was original articles. Small numbers have been published as professional, review articles and case reports. Clinical events were most common in the first two journals, while in the journal “Acta Informatica Medica” belonged to the field of medical informatics, as part of pre-clinical medical disciplines. Articles are usually required period of fifty to fifty nine days for review. Articles were received from four continents, mostly from Europe. The authors are most often from the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina, then Iran, Kosovo and Macedonia. Conclusion: The number of articles published each year is increasing, with greater participation of authors from different continents and abroad. Clinical medical disciplines are the most common, with the broader spectrum of topics and with a growing number of original articles. Greater support of the wider scientific community is needed for further development of all three of the aforementioned journals.

Introduction: Healthcare organizations are faced with numerous problems, including a chronic lack of financial resources. Aim: To determine the difference in familiarity with the standards related to the quality management system between the primary, secondary and tertiary levels of health care, to determine the difference in the implementation of the quality system; determine the connection between the implementation of the quality system and the satisfaction of service users – patient. Materials and methods: Statistical processing of all data from the survey questionnaire was performed in the SPSS 17.0 package (SPSS Inc.). The level of statistical significance was set at 0.05, and all confidence intervals are given at the 95% level. The normality of the distributions was checked by Shapiro-Wilk tests when the samples were smaller than n=30, and by the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test for larger samples. Given that in most cases they indicated statistically significant deviations from normal distributions, the median and interquartile ranges were used as measures of central tendency and dispersion. Mutual comparisons of all three levels of health activity were analyzed with the Mann-Whitney U test, with Bonferroni’s correction of the level of statistical significance. The survey questionnaire was sent to the addresses of a total of 110 BiH health institutions at the primary, secondary and tertiary levels of health care. In the period June/July 2024, a total of 86 completed survey questionnaires were collected, which represents 76,18 % of all respondents. Conclusion: Research on a sample of primary, secondary and tertiary healthcare institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina showed that the knowledge and application of the quality management system is still insufficient and points to the need to raise awareness of the importance of the application of the quality management system. Clinical hospital centers, as expected, given the application of the highest standard of medicine and the highest level of provision of health services, showed: greater knowledge of the importance of the quality management system and representation of quality assurance requirements of the ISO standard. The research also found that healthcare institutions that use international standards of quality management systems perform systematic monitoring of patient satisfaction with

stevens-Johnson syndrome (sJs) and toxic epidermal necrolysis (Ten) are severe, life-threatening mucocutaneous hypersensitivity reactions. The inflammatory response is mediated by cytotoxic T lymphocytes and nk (natural killer) cells with cytotoxic proteins and cytokines as mediators in the onset of cell apoptosis. drugs are responsible for about 95% of cases of toxic epidermal necrolysis. although non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (nsaid) are classified as drugs that can potentially lead to this hypersensitivity reaction, a small number of cases have been described in the literature regarding the occurrence of this reaction to the use of ibuprofen. We present the case of a 58-year-old man who developed symptoms of Ten seven days after using ibuprofen. The treatment of toxic epidermal necrolysis is still a matter of debate. Given that there is no uniform protocol for treatment, and the lethal outcome in such conditions occurs in about 40% of cases, each presented case is significant in terms of considering the effectiveness and improvement of the therapeutic approach.
