A large number of researchers found their interest in addressing the issue of capacity scaling for wireless ad hoc networks. This paper aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the development of capacity scaling laws in wireless networks, highlighting the problem of scaling as one of the basic challenges in their research. The review began with the definition of the notion of bandwidth of random networks, which were taken as a reference model of consideration when determining more advanced strategies for improving throughput capacity. Based on these strategies, other factors that have an impact on capacity scaling laws have been identified and elaborated. Finally, the capacity of hybrid wireless networks, ie networks in which at least two types of nodes functionally exist (ad hoc nodes/infrastructure nodes / auxiliary nodes), was partially investigated.

Internet of Things (IoT) is the inter-networking paradigm based on many processes such as identifying, sensing, networking and computation. An IoT technology stack provides seamless connectivity between various physical and virtual objects. The increasing number of IoT applications leads to the issue of transmitting, storing, and processing a large amount of data. Therefore, it is necessary to enable a system capable to handle the growing traffic requirements with the required level of QoS (Quality of Service). IoT devices become more complex due to the various components such as sensors and network interfaces. The IoT environment is often demanding for mobile power source, QoS, mobility, reliability, security, and other requirements. Therefore, new IoT technologies are required to overcome some of these issues. In recent years new wireless communication technologies are being developed to support the development of new IoT applications. This paper provides an overview of some of the most widely used wireless communication technologies used for IoT applications.

: Measurement of customer sastisfaction is an efficient tool to detect problems in SP (Services Provider) and their relationship with customers. Based on this measurement a relationship between customer satisfaction and loyalty can be established. It can determine the influence of key parameters on the number of users of services. The parameters of customer satisfaction and loyalty are numerous and depend on the network (network quality of services parameters), the client (the perception, expectations, beliefs, etc.), employees (implementation of activities), technological developments, organizational structure, etc. This paper aims to show the way to identify key indicators and their weighted factors that affect customer satisfaction. This paper intends to emphasize relationship between quality of services, customer perception and loyalty and to present a model for examining the key parameters that significantly influence customer satisfaction and how these parameters influence customer loyalty.

: The ad hoc network is a continuously self-configuring and decentralized network where nodes communicate with each other without the fixed network infrastructure or centralized administration. TCP (Transmission Control Protocol) is a connection-oriented transport protocol that provides a reliable exchange of data streams. Implementation of TCP in wireless networks has many challenges such as the issues of the efficiency and TCP fairness problem. The fairness means that network nodes (users or applications) are receiving a fair share of overall resources. In this paper, we study the problem of maintaining the fairness for TCP connections in ad hoc networks. Our research has been made to present the TCP fairness problem in MANET (ad hoc mobile networks) while considering the sending and receiving of traffic. Achieving fairness in these networks is a challenge due to specific characteristics of an ad hoc environment and it is necessary to adapt TCP for ad hoc networks. The primary goal of this paper is to present fairness in ad hoc networks using combinations of different TCP variants and routing protocols. We evaluated the results of our research by using the proper simulation method.

This paper discusses a concept of predicting interactions between measurable (technical) parameters of telecommunications network - QoS (Quality of Service) and QoE (Quality of Experience) of the video under realistic triple play network conditions using IPTV (Internet Protocol TV). Here is represented a simulation method using OPNET as simulation tool that includes a complete scenario of IPTV channels distribution in the hypothetical IP / MPLS network. Based on simulation results of the QoS parameters in the network and using of certain well-known regression analysis of QoS/QoE correlation model it is possible to evaluate the quality of the received video perceived by the user. It performs the mapping between quality assessment VQR (Video Quality Ratings), VQM (Video Quality Metric) and DMOS (Difference Mean Opinion Score) subjective rating scales. In that way it performs validation of IPTV service in terms of comparing the original video and the received video by the end user. The aim of this paper is to demonstrate the possibility of video quality validation under laboratory conditions using simulation method.

The application of information and communication technologies (ICT) is becoming an indispensable factor in optimizing transport processes. There is the need for monitoring of shipments during the transport process as an indispensable element of the management and control of transport of postal consignments. For this purpose they use different technologies, and this paper presents the role and capabilities of GPS (Global Positioning System) and RFID (radio-frequency identification) technologies. The work was carried out to show the possibilities for global positioning system (GPS) and radio frequency identification of (RFID) in the organization and rationalization of transport of postal items in Bosnia & Hercegovina.
