Tomaž Ambrožič, Admir Mulahusić, Nedim Tuno, Jusuf Topoljak, Amir Hajdar, Dušan Kogoj | DEFORMACIJSKA ANALIZA V GEODETSKIH MREŽAH Z ROBUSTNIMI METODAMI | DEFORMATION ANALYSIS WITH ROBUST METHODS IN GEODETIC NETS | 163-178 | deformation analysis, robust methods, numerical example This article describes the deformation analysis approach with robust methods in geodetic networks. The characteristic of this approach is the iterative weighted similarity transformation in which the displacement vector d is transformed into a datum determined by points with a smaller coordinate difference between two epochs. The article first gives a theoretical background of the approach, and then the approach is applied to the case of simulated measurements in two epochs. The calculated results of the deformation analysis approach with the robust methods in the present case do not differ significantly from the results obtained by conventional deformation analysis approaches.

Google Maps API is an application programming interface developed by Google in order to aid software developers to easier develop mapping software. Using internet technologies, todays maps are created to be dynamic, and not static as they used to be. This paper defines the concept of using Google Maps API, and explains the steps needed to start developing a mapping software. Like any other technologies, this technology also has weakneses which are described in the paper. Through testing, it was concluded that manufacturers are not yet fully complied with EXIF standard. So, it is absolutely necessary to test the device and PHP installation before we can be sure that the data from the photo can be read. Web page has been created. At this web page user is able to test his/her own photographs with location embedded data and the link is given in the paper.

During the period of one hundred years photogrammetry has had and still has a very important role in the documentation of cultural heritage. Selecting proper technologies enabled the protection, preservation and valorisation of architectural, archaeological and other forms of cultural heritage. Many recent technological breakthroughs have improved photogrammetry, as a tool for capturing, allowing a representation of much more complicated objects. In this way the faithful representation of the real world as a fast flow of information from the experts to the user has been secured. This paper explains the importance of preserving and documenting the cultural and historical heritage. Interesting examples of documenting the cultural and historical heritage of the world and Bosnia and Herzegovina are given, using close-range photogrammetry and laser scanning.

The main goal of GIS is to identify geografic coordiantes and attributes of stationary objects. That means that the uses of GIS are very much limited. So, there exists a need for a technology which will enable identification of objects if they are not stationary. RFID technology is the best example where this problem can be solved. Integrating GIS and RFID technologies we are able to follow and identify indoor or outdoor objects that are not stationary. RFID readers/writers are becoming cheaper just like it’s the case with other computer technologies. Today, some RFID devices can also process and transfer data to GIS servers. On the other side, development of GIS is becoming more affordable for the same reasons why RFID devices are cheaper. Therefore, if we enable GIS and RFID integration through internet, we can have all kinds of new possibilities which will solve industrial problems of todays and future.
