Summary: In the northern synclinorium of Kreka coal basin, lignite mine ”Lipnica” was opened in 1950 in Lipnica settlement nearby Tuzla city. During the exploitation period, mine produced 40 million tons of lignite. By extracting the coal reserves, mine was shut down in 1991. Underground caves were filled by classical methods present in underground mining and all entries are sealed. The ground infrastructure remained preserved and has had usable values in three periods when infrastructure was used for various purposes. Conversion for re- use of mining infrastructure is not defined by any categorisation for infrastructure conversion use as the planning element of sustainable development for active or shutdown mines. The article defines categories of sustainable development based on utilizing mine infrastructure on the sample of “Lipnica” mine. The universality of categorisation points out the possible options of optimal re-use of coal mine infrastructure, indicating implementation of a mining company sustainable development concept, either in government or private ownership. Optimalization of the contours of the "Kongora" open surface pit, applying the Method of movable slopes (l) has been elaborated in the Master thesis "Projecting in the mining by applying application programs" [10]. In the basic proposition of the Method of movable slopes, fix values of the energy market prices and the elementary prices of mineral raw material digging, have been taken into consideration for the reason of simplified procedure in verifying the method in the course of elaborating the algorithms [9, 10]. According to the algorithms of contemporary methods, a process of projecting surface pit mines includes also determination of blocks digging seguences [14]. It includes an exact defining of optimal opening point and the direction of developing surface pit. The change of the exploitation price is considerably influenced by the factors such as - the place of opening, the way of digging, direction of advancing and some additional investments [1]. Formerly determined final contours of the surface pit might serve as an ultimate goal of optimalization. An exact sequence of technological operations should be determined to be able to reach the established goal [4, 5]. The point of opening and developing of the surface pit is greatly influenced by the following factors: value of the mineral raw material (economic factor), shape of ore body, quality of the mineral raw material and the quantity of the overburden (natural and technological factors) as well as the morphology of the ground. Inside any surface pit mine there is tendency of continuity in sense of profit but also with regard to really possible technological solutions. It means that a crucial problem is to achieve constant quality of mineral raw material, quality of overburden and the form of mining works [2, 3, 6]. Following these propositions, a contemporary method of determination an optimal point of opening and developing of the surface pit has been elaborated, primarily for the stratified deposits as well as for the other types of deposits, nominated as the Method of uniformed ratio (MUR). This method has been tested on the representative example of the "Kongora" coal mine pit.

In this paper are analyzed economic parameters of drilling and blasting overburden on pit mines RMU Banovici. On the pit mines "Cubric" and "Grivice" was done blasting with new types explosion materials. Blasting is performed with emulsion explosives "Handibulk" produced by ICI Explozives England. For used explosives defined optimal parameters of drilling and blasting for rock mass on overburden. Costs of production process drilling and blasting estimated 0,321 (€/m3cm), and single part of all processes are getting with graph.

Tuzla Coal Basin in Bosnia and Herzegovina is the largest coal area in the State. Regional mining industry sensed the need for mining machinery database development in order to achieve easier planning purposes and equipment selection for open cast mines in Tuzla Coal Basin. Several databases for mining machinery used on the bituminous deposits, i.e. on brown coal and lignite mines, were developed at the Faculty of Mining, Geology and Civil Engineering, Tuzla. System Development Method was used as the approach to the database development, generating relational structure of database. First database was established for trucks and was presented as simple table, drawn and filled on the paper sheet. In the next phase, data were stored in spreadsheet type software (Quattro Pro and Excel). Lately developed database is Bucket Wheel Excavator database designed in MS Access. Two concepts, spreadsheet and Access, were integrated into one large database, enabling manipulation of hundreds of data at one place. Required adaptations of existing database in MS Access, enables Access to be used as an integration resource. Database is designed to reserve free memory for input data for mining equipment not considered so far, such as spreaders, crushers, belt conveyors, tripper cars, etc. New, integrated database, at this stage, can be imported to any type of commercial or individual software where needed. All construction processes are served. Some construction processes are served in way they have a massive character. Transporting on construction sites by means of tower cranes is not an independent process, but rather it is a process which depends both on the moment of picking up the load and the moment of releasing the load. This process has been studied here with the aim of discovering its total efficiency. The objective of modeling the functioning of production chains of a construction process, within which transporting is carried out by means of tower cranes, is to determine quantitative data for each state of the production chain which has a significant effect on the degree of the production chain efficiency.
