Overhead Line Switching Surge Simulator
-This paper describes methodology for the electromagnetic transients computation, which is based on the system decomposition. A phase domain transmission line model is used. This approach is implemented in the software used for the overhead line switching surge studies. Overhead line is divided into short segments, enabling determination of the overvoltage distribution along the line.
