Repair methodology of reinforced concrete cooling towers
The coal-fired power plant in Tuzla, Bosnia is located in a heavy industrial zone. Its cooling towers are exposed to environmentally aggressive actions (chloride, sulfate, etc) that have caused severe damage. This article describes the repair work carried out and gives recommendations for repairing cooling towers and similar structures exposed to an aggressive environment.
